Why Sunsethold

What participants tend to notice

One coherent system

Rather than loose papers across several drawers, participants leave with a folder structure their families can understand. Clarity replaces guesswork.

Small, unhurried groups

Sessions are kept small so there is room for questions and reflection. No one is rushed through material. The pace suits the subject.

A map, not a maze

The written records map and checklist help households understand what they have, where it sits, and who to call when particular decisions arise.

Honest about limits

Sunsethold is clear about what it does and does not do. The programmes are educational. Participants are directed to qualified specialists whenever a matter calls for one.

Home visits available

The Family Records Coordination Programme includes visits to the household itself, so the filing system is built in the context where it will actually be used.

Suited to Bangkok life

The materials and discussions account for the context of living in Thailand — the kinds of documents that matter here, the specialists available, and the family structures common to the region.

Is your paperwork ready for the years ahead?

A single afternoon workshop can replace months of low-level anxiety about scattered documents. Spaces in each group are limited.

Questions

Things people often ask before enrolling

Who are these workshops for?

The workshops are designed for adults who are approaching retirement or who have already retired, and for families who would like to bring their household records into a clearer order. No prior knowledge of filing systems or financial planning is needed.

Do you provide legal or financial advice?

No. Sunsethold's programmes are entirely educational. We do not provide legal advice, financial advice, tax guidance, or representation of any kind before government bodies. We encourage all participants to consult qualified specialists — lawyers, financial advisers, and others — for matters that require them. Our role is to help you know what questions to ask and whom to ask them to.

How large are the workshop groups?

Groups are kept small — typically six to ten participants — so that the session can move at a thoughtful pace and there is room for individual questions. The Family Records Coordination Programme is conducted by appointment for individual households.

Where are the workshops held?

Group workshops and the conversation series are held at our Ratchathewi address — 367 Phaya Thai Road, Bangkok 10400. The Family Records Coordination Programme includes three home consultation visits at a time and address agreed with each household.

What documents should I bring to the workshop?

Nothing is required in advance. The workshop is structured so that the sorting and labelling work begins during the session itself, using the templates we provide. You will receive a checklist beforehand so you can gather any documents you already have access to, but the session is useful even if you arrive with very little in hand.

What is included in the programme price?

Prices are stated in Thai Baht. The Personal Records Organisation Workshop (฿5,500) includes the session, a printed folder template, a reference checklist, and a take-home guide. The Pre-Retirement Planning Conversation Series (฿14,500) covers all four two-hour sessions and printed reflective materials. The Family Records Coordination Programme (฿29,800) includes six weeks of structured support, three home visits, the folder template, and a written records map.

Is the information I share kept private?

Yes. Any personal information shared during the programmes is held with care and is not passed to third parties. We handle your enquiry data in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which you can read on this site. If you have specific questions about how information is handled, please write to us before enrolling.
